The Black Market Esteli came recommended by my local shopkeeper, as I liked the 'original' Black Market. He claimed that, while the Honduras-made Black Market is indeed very good, it's Nicaraguan-made nephew was even better.

Indeed, tasting totally different compared to the regular Black Market, the Esteli version is totally awesome, and in my opinion, also slightly more complex. Notes of dark chocolate, black pepper and vanille are most obvious, with in the background some creaminess, and a hint of mint ; all in perfect balance.

While the regular Black Market already scores very high, with the Black Market Esteli, Alec Bradley managed to improve on it.

Fun Fact: The Esteli features a double binder: one from Nicaragua, and one from Honduras.
