Toscano cigars are always an experiance to smoke. The shape is peculiar, and the Italians tend to break it half, to share with each other. After smoking my share of Toscano’s in Tuscany, I’ve learned that while Toscano cigars won’t ever win rewards for their smooth wrappers, or consistent shapes, the draw is always perfect, and they produce a nice amount of smoke.
While both their ‘Extra Vecchio’ or ‘Classico’ lines are strong and full bodied, the Garibaldi is only slighty less so. I found it to be a bit sweeter, and more nuanced.
If you try one, you may expect notes of earthy tobacco, leather, and as just said, a hint of sweetness, making it probably the most palatable Toscano.
If you’re looking to add a touch of Italian elegance to your smoking routine, the Garibaldi is an excellent choice.
