While I'm more inclined to the stronger Macanudo Inspirado Red, my cousin likes the Inspirado Orange better, at least, in the Gordo-size. He purchased a hand-full of Robusto's, that he found to be a tad stronger, than he likes.

He offered me to try and see if I liked the Robusto's. Here goes: Their look is identical to it's larger sibling, and the construction is equal as good. The smaller size feels a bit strange, though.

Both the draw as the burn were nearly perfect, so no complaints in that department. On the palate, I found it very similar to the 6 x 60 Gigante: Creamy, Nutty notes, with some Coffee and in the background some Leather. From the second half, the cigar became a bit stronger, and some Spicy and Peppery notes revealed themselves (but not in a bad way).

I still prefer the larger size of the Gigante, but this Robusto might be an ideal smoke for a those shorter occasions...
