Apparently, Macanudo used to be generally known for it’s milder blends, but if anything, the Inspirado Red can’t be considered ‘Mild’ at all.
Created for the 50th anniversary of the brand, the Inspirado Red is a well constructed cigar that sports a nice dark and oily wrapper. The band is colorful and shiny, but fits the cigar well.
The Aroma really impresses from the start, and after ‘a cut and a light’, notes of cappuccino, dark chocolate, wood, some pepper, and hints of Anise can be discovered.
With an almost perfect burn, an ideal draw, and great taste, the Macanudo usually entertains me for a good two hours, and ticks al my boxes to earn a solid score!
